ONLINE REGISTRATION for FIRST RECONCILIATION & FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASS

FOR CHILDREN WHO WERE:

  • BAPTIZED CATHOLIC
    OR
  • WERE BAPTIZED NON-CATHOLIC WITH CATHOLIC PROFESSION OF FAITH

Please follow the steps below to register your child for catechism classes in preparation for First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion.
Please read all the steps below before completing the online forms. Ensure that all steps are completed accordingly.

STEP 1: PREPARE THE ELECTRONIC COPIES OF THE DOCUMENTS BEFORE COMPLETING STEP 2:

  • Required Documents:
    • Electronic copy of Child's Catholic Baptism certificate or non-Catholic Christian Baptism certificate (whichever applies) showing the date of birth of the child, names of parients, name & signature of the priest and seal of the church
    • Electronic copy of Child's birth certificate showing the names of the parents
    • Electronic copy of parent's Catholic Profession of Faith Certificate done on behalf of the child (only for non-Catholic Christian Baptism)  showing the date of birth of the child, names of the parents, name & signature of the priest and the seal of the church
  • All documents must be in either PDF or JPG format
  • File size must not exceed 100 MB each
  • All documents must be in English. Otherwise, it has to be translated to English by a certified translator.
  • WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REQUEST THE PARENT TO SHOW THE ORIGINAL OF THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

STEP 2: REGISTER ONLINE FOR MANDATORY FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CATECHISM CLASS

  • CLICK HERE to REGISTER ONLINE on or before Tuesday, OCTOBER 1, 2024

STEP 3: PARENTS AND CHILD MUST ATTEND THE MANDATORY PARENTS' SESSION ON OCTOBER 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. 

STEP 4: ATTEND & COMPLETE ALL FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CATECHISM CLASSES

  • Catechism classes are mandatory for children in grade 2 or older
  • The Parish Sacramental Preparation Ministry provides the catechism classes
  • Parish schools will no longer offer catechism classes in preparation for these Sacraments
  • SCHEDULE of CATECHISM CLASSES for both Grades 2-4 and Grades 5-7
    • DATES:  2024: October 26, November 2,9,16,23,30
                       2025: February 22, March 1,22,29, April 5,12
    • TIME: 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
    • VENUE: Guardian Angels Parish Hall

DATES OF FIRST RECONCILLIATION in 2025: Saturday, APRIL 5, 2025 | Time: TBA

DATES OF FIRST HOLY COMMUNION MASS IN 2025: Exact Dates in April or May TO BE POSTED HERE
