DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENTS OF FIRST RECONCILIATION AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
AT GUARDIAN ANGELS PARISH

         1. Online Registration Form 
            Second and last extension to register is by 10 PM on  Thursday, October 19, 2023

2. Required supporting documents

• • Baptism Certificate (Catholic or valid non-Catholic)
  • Profession of Faith Certificate (for non-Catholic baptism)

All documents must be in English. Otherwise, the documents must be translated to English by a certified translator.

3. Mandatory catechism classes

• • • Mandatory for children in grade 2 or older including those in our parish schools and children who have not received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion
    • Catechism classes are provided by the Parish Sacramental Preparation Ministry
    • Parish schools will no longer offer catechism classes in preparation for these Sacraments
    • SCHEDULE of CATECHISM CLASSES
      Date:    Saturdays in 2023: Oct 21 & 28, Nov 4, 11, 18 & 25 and
                   Saturdays in 2024: Jan 13, 20 & 27, Feb 3 & 24, Mar 2 & 23
      Time:   10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
      Venue: Guardian Angels Parish Hall

4. Parish registration of parents if living within the L7A area
